Actor Peter Greene best known for his villainous roles during the 1990s has died aged 60.
Greene was found unresponsive in his New York apartment and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police and Gregg Edwards, his manager of more than 10 years.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
Greene was best known for his roles as Zed in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction and Dorian Tyrell in The Mask, starring alongside Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz.

Greene's manager Gregg Edwards told NBC News: "Nobody played a bad guy better than Peter.
"But he also had, you know, a gentle side that most people never saw, and a heart as big as gold."
“Truly one of the great actors of our generation. His heart was as big as there was. I’m going to miss him. He was a great friend."

Greene also starred in Clean, Shaven and appeared in the crime thrillers The Usual Suspects and Training Day.
Edwards confirmed that Greene was about to begin production in January with Mickey Rourke on an independent thriller called Mascots.
Greene was born in Montclair, New Jersey, and leaves behind a sister and a brother.
