Prince Philip was admitted to hospital on Tuesday evening, Buckingham Palace have confirmed. The Duke of Edinburgh was sent to King Edward VII hospital in Marylebone, London, by his doctor as a precautionary measure after feeling unwell. Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II is 99 years old and will turn 100 on June 10th. In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: "His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh was admitted to the King Edward VII Hospital in London, on Tuesday evening. "The Duke's admission is a precautionary measure, on the advice of His Royal Highness's Doctor, after feeling unwell.
