At first the woman tried to link arms with the man
Police are searching for a woman after a man was sexually assaulted late at night in a London Tube station.
The man was going up an escalator when a woman tried to link arms with him, then groped him after he tried to get away from her, police said.
The suspect was with a friend when the incident happened at around 9pm in Euston Underground station in central London on 14 April.
After the assault, the women jumped on a tube train, according to the British Transport Police.
Detectives on Friday released CCTV images of a woman they want to question over the incident.
A spokesman for the BTP made a public appeal, asking: “Do you recognise this woman? We’d like to speak to her in connection with a sexual assault at Euston Underground station on Friday 14 April.
“At around 9pm, a man was travelling on the escalator when a woman tried to link arms with him.
“When he pulled his arm away, she sexually assaulted him.
“The woman, who was travelling with a friend, then left the escalator and boarded a tube.
“Officers would like to speak to the woman in these images, as they believe she has information which may assist the investigation.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or texting 61016 with reference 450 of 15 April or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
