Boris Johnson appeared to try and wrestle Labour's election co-ordinator during a bizarre spat which was broadcast live on Sky News.
As Johnson was being interviewed by the news channel, Andrew Gwynne crashed the interview asking him why he hadn't been willing to go head to head with him.
After Johnson accepted the challenge and called Gwynne a "big girl's blouse" the pair began to argue.
The incident, which took place ahead of BBC's Question Time on Friday night, came to an end soon after Johnson put his arm around Gwynne and appeared to push him - prompting the Labour man to lurch forward before branding him a "pillock".
