Two actors who are set feature in a brand new show on Netflix have died in a car accident in Mexico.
Raymundo Garduno Cruz and Juan Francisco Gonzalez Aguilar are the names of the actors who were killed in the crash on Thursday,
The Independent reports. The actors were filming
The Chosen One, which is an adaptation of the comic book series by Mark Millar and Peter Gross.
The accident was confirmed by
the Baja California Department of Culture on Friday. The department said the van that the crew members were riding in crashed and flipped after it ran off the desert road near Mulegé on the Baja California Sur peninsula.
Six other cast and crew members were also injured in the crash.
A release date for
The Chosen One has so far not been released. The description for the programme reads: "A 12-year-old boy learns he's the returned Jesus Christ, destined to save humankind. Based on the comic book series by Mark Millar and Peter Gross."
