Nearly half the UK braced for snow by end of the month

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Almost half the UK could be facing snow by the end of November.

Forecasting models have shown that massive chunks of the country will likely be facing wintery conditions in the next few weeks.

Exacta Weather forecaster, James Madden, told the Daily Star that winter is coming.

He said: “Even parts as far south as the Midlands, Central/Southern England will be brought into the mix.”

According to weather maps from WX Charts, parts of northern England could face as much as 5cm of snow, with an inch of snow predicted in Wales on November 28.

Northern Scotland could be expecting 8cm by November 30, and London won’t be going dry either.

Madden added: “The first major wintry and snowy blast of the season is now starting to build. “There is now the ever-increasing and quite high risk that this wintry blast will strike within the exact period we have been covering for over the past several weeks, and since our earliest indications on this from early September onwards.

“The worst hit areas also look likely to be across the northern half of the country for this period and this does also include snow to lower levels in these parts too.

“However, as we get nearer the time, it is now also becoming increasingly likely that we will see some of this snow reaching some much lower levels of the country, and even parts as far south as the Midlands, Central/Southern England will be brought into the mix for snow within this period too.”
