Well this certainly isn’t something you expect to see on your daily commute.
A meteor hurtled into the Earth’s atmosphere on Monday, exploding over the skies of Bangkok. A number of Thai motorists caught the dramatic moment on their dashcams and the footage is breathtaking.
Such is the clarity of the images it looks like a special-effect from a Hollywood blockbuster. In fact, many locals were convinced it was some sort of fireball until the authorities confirmed it was indeed an asteroid.
And we thought the M1 was dramatic…
