A model who claims to have the world’s biggest cheeks has shared a picture of herself before she spent thousands of dollars on fillers and cosmetic procedures.
Anastasia Pokreshchuk, from Kiev, Ukraine, has spent more than $2,100 (£1,500) on plastic surgery to give her the protruding cheeks that have made her famous around the globe.
Her distinctive look has led many to wonder what she looked like before she decided splash out on the face-altering work.
Well, wonder no more.
The 32-year-old has shared a post on Instagram showing what she looked like before the days of pink hair and protruding cheeks.
Her appearance is world’s apart from the distinctive and bizarre look she rocks nowadays.
The post, which has been liked thousands of times, shows what Anastasia looked like at 16 and 32.
On a number of levels, she looks different.
She kept her makeup to a minimum with a touch of lipstick and coral eyeshadow and her natural curly hair was pushed back off her face with a colourful headband.
In fact, with the exception of having two eyes, a mouth and a nose in both pics, it’s difficult to find any similarity between her current self and her lesser-cheeked past.
Different colour hair? Check. Different eyebrows? Check. Different lips? Cheek, sorry, check.
One responder wrote: “You were so beautiful before.”
Another said: “What sort of look was that? I love you now.”
A third wrote: “There was a young girl and she became a confident, bright and beautiful woman. Well done.”
And a fourth added: “I would not recognise your photo at 16.”
The model has previously spoken about her look, and says she loves her appearance.
“After I had the injections and saw the changes in my cheeks, I fell in love with them,” she said. “I understand that they look weird for other people but I don’t mind.”
She says the fillers have boosted her confidence, and that before she decided to get the face wings, she was “ashamed of everything; my voice, my appearance” and she thought she was ugly.
She adds: “My mom thinks that I was naturally beautiful before, but now thinks I look more exotic and my friends say my new appearance is better because before I looked like a grey mouse.”
