The deal will be available through the McDonald’s app

McDonald’s has slashed the prices of its Happy Meals this Easter to help families out.

Although nowadays you may enjoy a Big Mac or some Chicken Nuggets when you visit Maccies, the iconic Happy Meal was almost certainly your first memory of visiting the Golden Arches.

Now, the Happy Meal will be available at a cut price this Easter across the UK.

Available via the McDonald’s App, families can enjoy a Happy Meal for just £1.99 from Thursday, March 28 until Sunday, April 14.*

This is a 40 per cent reduction in the average Happy Meal price.

The Happy Meal contains a choice of Fish Fingers, Chicken McNuggets or Veggie Dippers with an Apple and Grape bag or Carrot Bag side, plus drink options including water, milk, or Fruit Shoot.

The offer comes as McDonald’s announces its first ever UK Happy Meal partnership with the iconic card game Uno, featuring an all-star line-up of characters from iconic DreamWorks Animation franchises.

Families will be able to get packs of Uno with Happy Meals this Easter (McDonald’s)

There are six Uno card packs available, including the classic Uno card pack and five card packs with designs featuring well-known DreamWorks film characters from Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar, Trolls and Megamind.

From colour matching cards to exciting wildcards, the iconic DreamWorks characters bring bursts of nostalgia for parents and waves of excitement for their kids.

Alternatively parents can opt for a book instead of a toy and choose one of two Little People Big Dreams books – I Can Be an Astronaut or a I Can Be a Brave Adventurer.

*Terms and conditions: Purchase one Happy Meal for £1.99. One use per day. Offer only valid between 00:01 on March 28 until 23:59 on April 14, 2024. Only via the ‘Offers’ section of the McDonald’s (UK) app. 18+. Service times and Delivery fees apply. Participating restaurants only. Subject to availability and opening hours. See McDonalds.com for full terms.
