‘F*ck I had no idea – zero idea’
An Aussie bloke has won $1.8 (nearly £1 million) on the lottery after having an absolutely awful day at work.
The man, from Tasmania, held one of the 11 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4409, drawn Saturday 21 October 2023 and took home a total prize of $1,818,181.82.
The unnamed man said: “Wow! Wow! I’m in shock” after being told of his winnings.
He added: “F***! I had no idea – zero idea!
“I’m actually in the middle of driving. I had to pull over when you called. Funnily enough, I thought I was having a bad morning because there was a mishap at work but now it’s done a complete 180!
“I don’t know what to say. That’s incredible!
“I play a random subscription every Saturday and I have just let it run for a bit.
“Thank you so much for this phone call.”
Speaking about his plans for the future with his brand new fortune, the man said: “This will be a tremendous help. I’ll be able to pay off my mortgage.
“Gosh! I’ll have to celebrate tonight!”
The man’s winning 50-game QuickPick was purchased on the thelott which is the home of Australia lottery.
