A man has been arrested after threatening to slice Donald Trump's throat with a sword.
Yesterday, a 45-year-old man in Massachusetts was arrested after making threats over Facebook to kill the 47th president of the United States.
The news was revealed by the FBI who shared a press release from the US Attorney's Office for the district of Massachusetts.
The report said: "Andrew D. Emerald, 45, was indicted by a federal grand jury on eight counts of interstate transmission of threatening communications.
"Emerald was arrested this morning [Wednesday] and will appear in federal court in Springfield, Mass., at 2:30 p.m. today.
The report said that Emerald had "made eight separate Facebook posts in which he threatened to injure President Trump".

The report details that the charge which Emerald faces carries a sentence of up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000.
