MAGA teenagers who confronted Native American protester ‘filmed harassing girls’ beforehand

A group of young men, reportedly the same ones involved in a later viral confrontation, shouted at girls in the street

The fallout from a viral video of Donald Trump supporters seemingly confronting a Native American protester in Washington DC has continued with fresh footage emerging of a separate incident from the same day.

While walking past a bench filled with teenage boys wearing ‘Make America Great Again’ hats, a young girl known as ‘linds’ on Twitter quickly filmed the boys yelling at them.

“The Covington Catholic boys harassed my friends and I before the incident with Nathan Phillips even happened,” she wrote of the moment on social media.

“This video is short because we walked by and were surprised to be yelled at. I took my phone out to send it to my friends back home for a laugh. I simply could not ignore the media saying they were provoked so I posted it.

“The interaction wasn’t very complicated. We walked by, they started yelling, we asked them how old they were, they replied ‘old enough’, kept yelling, and we rolled our eyes and kept walking.

“All we specifically heard was ‘MAGA’, ‘Build the Wall’, and some people say they hear ‘slut’ at the end of the video.”

The teenagers involved in the confrontation with Native American protester Nathan Phillips have since distanced themselves from claims they were in the wrong and have even had US president Donald Trump come to their defence.

“Nick Sandmann and the students of Covington have become symbols of Fake News and how evil it can be,” tweeted Trump on Tuesday.

“They have captivated the attention of the world, and I know they will use it for the good – maybe even to bring people together. It started off unpleasant, but can end in a dream!”
