Macauley Negus has not been since Saturday night

Concerns are growing for a Liverpool supporter missing in Madrid after Saturday night’s Champions League final.

23-year-old Macauley Negus, who is from Plymouth, was last seen in the Goya area of the Spanish capital at around 10.30pm – just after Liverpool had beaten Tottenham.

He was due to drive back to the UK the following day, but his older brother Ashley has since reported him missing, appealing on social media for help to find him.

Macauley is said to have been wearing a white top, white shorts and white trainers when he was last seen.

Ashley’s most recent tweet, posted in the early hours of Monday morning, confirmed that he was now officially recognised as a missing person by local police.

In an update, he said: ‘Sorry guys been out all night looking he’s now officially reported to the police as a missing person (had to wait 24 hours).

‘Someone out there knows where he is or information please keep sharing and a massive thank you from all his family, keep praying.’

Macauley’s sister-in-law, Carla, has also pleaded for information about his whereabouts on Instagram page.

‘Missing in Madrid!!!’ her message said. ‘Macauley Negus last seen Saturday 1st June in Madrid! He’s my brother-in-law!

‘Please If you have any information or know anything please contact me.’
