Lionel Messi's popularity in Miami has continued to rise after teammate DeAndre Yedlin revealed that he treated the entire squad to a new set of headphones.
Messi mania is well and truly alive in the US right now and the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner has adapted to his new surroundings with ease, scoring three and assisting one in just two games.
After coming off the bench to score a 94th minute winner on his debut against Cruz Azul, the Argentine followed it up with a brace and assist in a 4-0 win against Atlanta United.
His star-studded status has attracted so many that fans even started to head for the exits as soon as Messi was subbed.
It also seems that his teammates are enjoying his start to life at Inter Miami and to mark his arrival, the World Cup winner gifted his new teammates a welcome gift.
During a post-match interview, former Spurs and Newcastle defender Yedlin said: "That’s Messi. Messi offered the team. I don’t know if he bought them, but he gave everybody for his first game."
The headphones, Dr Dre beats, were a pink colour - the same as the club's home shirt - and is just another sign of how much more Messi seems to be enjoying his life after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season.
