No Music For Genocide have now shared their list of artists who are calling for a boycott.
These include Brian Eno, Massive Attack, Macklemore, Sigurrus, Roger Waters, Peter Gabriel, Idles, Paloma Faith, Young Fathers, Kneecap, Paul Weller, Mogwai, and more.
Over 1000 musicians and cultural workers have joined the boycott.
Taking to Instagram, No Music For Genocide, wrote: "1100+ MUSICIANS & CULTURAL WORKERS CALL ON ARTISTS, BROADCASTERS, AND FANS TO BOYCOTT EUROVISION UNTIL GENOCIDAL ISRAEL IS BANNED. JOIN THE BOYCOTT + GEOBLOCK YOUR MUSIC.
"AS ZIONIST VIOLENCE soundtracks and silences life itself, from Palestine to Lebanon to Iran, we reject Eurovision's hypocritical use of music to try and drown out atrocities in the name of 'apolitical' harmony. As Russia remains banned from Eurovision for its invasion of Ukraine, any complaints about calls to ban apartheid Israel amount to cultural cover for genocide."
"Every year, for its entire 53-year tenure as a Eurovision participant, genocidal Israel has perpetuated its racist systems of apartheid, torture, land theft, and military occupation against Palestinians from the river to the sea. More people watch Eurovision than the Super Bowl Halftime Show and the Grammys combined.
"We can’t afford to take Eurovision less seriously than Israel’s war criminal leaders.
"In a few weeks, Eurovision is set to once again normalize genocidal Israel, this time after it illegally invaded and annihilated large swathes of Lebanon and Iran, killing 1000s and displacing millions.
"Please join us in strengthening a united cultural front as the Boycott Eurovision movement gains unprecedented power, and more countries withdraw from the international song contest."
