Channel 4’s The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year has become a bit of a Boxing Day tradition. Host Jimmy Carr helms the annual show where a group of Channel 4-adjacent celebs and comedians try to answer questions based on how they can remember from the last 12 months. This year BFQOTY regulars like Richard Ayoade and Noel Fielding have been joined by the likes of Big Narstie and Katherine Ryan, and there’s a good chance you’ve spent the evening eating leftovers while you watched it.

One popular feature is where people who you would not expect to know the lyrics of pop songs - like a newsreader, or politician - reads out lyrics of pop songs from the last year, and they have to guess what song it is. Or sometimes it’s the autobiography of a D-list reality star. Something like that.
