Identical twins trying to get pregnant with same fiance

Warning: this article contains extreme levels of weird

Two twins in Australia are both trying to get pregnant at exactly the same time, with their shared fiance.

Anna and Lucy DeCinque are taking the idea that twins do a lot together to a whole new level.

The sisters from Perth are trying to get pregnant at the same time with their partner of nine years, Ben Byrne.

However once you hear more about these twins, you’ll realise that this is pretty normal by their standards.

The two follow identical diets and exercise routines, to the extent of measuring out their food so that they both eat the exact same amount.

They’ve also spent almost $250,000 (£177,000) on cosmetic treatment such as breast implants and eyebrow procedures, to look more alike.

The DeCinque twins share their interconnected lives in the American TLC network’s reality series, Extreme Sisters, a programme that documents the lives and relationships of five sets of siblings.

As part of the show, we see the levels that Anna and Lucy will go to to try and get pregnant at the same time.

The sisters take their temperatures at the same time each morning to find out if they are ovulating, and recently discovered that they were most fertile at the same time of the month.

“We learnt from the internet that when your temperature goes up, you’re ovulating,” Lucy said in one clip.

The two then both take their temperatures, before exclaiming: “We’re the three degrees up! We are ovulating, we’re exactly the same.”

They then call for their partner, before we later see them with their legs up against a wall whilst eating pineapple in an attempt help them conceive.

Be warned, you may need a lie down after watching the video below.

It seems like there really is not a single moment that they spend apart, whether it’s when trying to conceive or even when they go to the toilet.

“When she goes to the toilet, I come with her; when she has a shower, I come with her,’ Anna told the New York Post.

“You name it and we do it. We’re never apart. I don’t think we’d function without each other. We have separation anxiety. We’re bound to each other.”
