Homenews

Patio furniture has definitely been knocked over.

Tremors were felt across Cumbria this morning as Britain's second earthquake in two weeks struck. The earthquake occurred at around 7:40am this morning and lasted for approximately 20 seconds, leaving residents of the area with their entire house shaking. This follows an earthquake that hit Swansea earlier this month and notched 4.4 on the Richter scale. It was felt by as many as 10 million Brits and was the biggest on-shore event in the UK in a decade. Here's how people in Cumbria responded to the most recent tremor: https://twitter.com/MartinParlett/status/968757820937199616 https://twitter.com/LewisBowman/status/968752501934755840 https://twitter.com/playiconic/status/968753641820704768 https://twitter.com/CharzaTM/status/968760257186091008 https://twitter.com/LakelandCamera/status/968755062846754818 https://twitter.com/OJCarr1/status/968755461901123585 https://twitter.com/mcavaghan_24/status/968760307320524806
