Heartbreak as three-year-old boy dies of wounds after suspected dog attack

No arrests have been made

A three-year-old boy has sadly died in hospital after a suspected dog attack in an incident that the police said would "rock the local community". Paramedics called police to a property in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, after a suspected dog attack on Sunday May 15 at around 1pm. A three-year-old boy was rushed to hospital from the house on Carr Lane, Milnrow but sadly succumbed to his wounds in hospital. "This is a tragic, devastating incident and our thoughts are with the family at this horrendous time," Detective Superintendent Jamie Daniels of Greater Manchester Police said. "We are investigating the incident and previous incidents involving dogs at this address." According to the BBC, the breeds of the dogs involved have not been revealed and no arrests have been made. https://twitter.com/GMB/status/1526069647958855682 They continued: "While our enquiries to find out what happened will be thorough and are very much in their infancy, we suspect that this little boy has, sadly, succumbed to injuries received as a result of a dog attack. "I understand this is an extremely distressing incident for all concerned and this news will rock the local community.
