It always pays to be kind to others as you never know if they could end up saving your life one day.
That’s a motto that German far-right party NPD should try to stick to after one of their members was rescued from a car crash by a group of Syrian refugees.
Stefan Jagsch, who is due to stand for NPD in Germany’s forthcoming local elections, crashed into a tree after losing control of his vehicle on March 16.
He was seriously injured in the accident, but was fortunately helped by two Syrians who pulled him from the wreckage and performed first aid before an ambulance arrived.

The NPD, who could be the first political party to be banned in Germany in 60 years, thanked Jagsch’s rescuers saying they “likely performed a very good, humane deed”.
However, the Guardian report that in January Jagsch, who is still recovering in hospital, participated in a neo-nazi march where refugees were accused of being “invaders”, “benefit-scrounging tourists” and “lawless primates”.
Hopefully his narrow escape has taught him an important life lesson.
