Now the Manchester Evening News report that an agreement has been reached with local council and social housing bosses to provide mental health support to those living in the building as well as supplying addiction counselling where necessary.
Riverside Care and Support will send social workers to the building on a regular basis and will help those living in the building to find temporary accommodation and offer assistance in accessing benefits.
Neville believes that situation at the Stock Exchange building is a sign of a further homeless problem within Manchester, saying: "Nobody should be sleeping on the street.
"We will work with the council and Riverside offering support and services with the ultimate goal of providing a roof over the heads of the people in the Stock Exchange."Explore more on these topics:
