Nothing quite divides the internet like an optical illusion.
For some reason, we really like having our heads fucked with by images that aren’t quite what they seem – and pretty much everyone is getting fooled by the latest one which started doing the rounds on Twitter last night.
Here’s the tweet that’s got people arguing – it’s a pair of shiny legs, right?
Once you see it you can't unsee it pic.twitter.com/5mREeJUhYV

It’s already been retweeted more than 5,000 times, and a lot of people are really struggling to see what the illusion’s even supposed to be…
@msbreeezyyy I don't see it

Managed to work it out yet? We’ll give you a clue, the legs aren’t actually shiny at all.
Read on if you want to ~discover the truth~…
All there is to it is some very well placed streaks of paint, which makes the legs look like they’re covered with cling-film or oil or something.
It’s definitely one of those where, once you see it for what it really is, you can’t believe you never noticed it before.
Oh well, at least we’re all in the same boat of feeling a bit stupid together.
