Elon Musk responds to article claiming he had ‘bought and deleted Fortnite’

The article claimed IRL supervillain Elon Musk had purchased the popular video game

Elon Musk is back on his Twitter bullshit again, this time using his 23 million follower platform to respond to a parody article that claimed he had bought and then deleted Fortnite.

Taking a screenshot of the article, Musk explained why he had ‘removed’ the Epic Games phenomenon: “Had to be done.”

Before adding: “I had to save these kids from eternal virginity.”

And the #banter didn’t end there. Professional Fortnite Battle Royale player and Twitch streamer, Myth, then hit back at the CEO, whose net worth is estimated to be around $19.9 billion.

Myth – real name Ali Kabbani – wrote: “Excuse me Mr.Musk but I think it’s important for me to state that I actually lost my virginity after playing Fortnite.”

The tweet comes after Elon Musk was forced to step down as the chairman of Tesla after he tweeting saying he was looking at taking Tesla private and had “funding secured”, something that was subsequently discovered to be untrue.

As part of a settlement agreed with the commission for that tweet, Elon was made to pay a penalty of $20 million as well as agreeing to step down as Tesla’s chairman. It was also reported that his tweeting would be monitored by the company going forward.
