Ed Miliband mocks Tory shambles with hilarious name change on Twitter

The Tories will never, ever live that tweet down will they?

Ed Miliband has stuck the boot in to the Tories, pulled it out, and stuck it back in for good measure following the news that Theresa May will step down as prime minister on June 7 by citing an infamous tweet from 2015 that I can’t believe hasn’t been deleted.

May announced her imminent resignation outside 10 Downing Street on Friday as she fought back tears induced by the fact it won’t be her responsible for plunging thousands of people into poverty anymore.

When the Tories pick a new leader, it will be the third different prime minister to take office since David Cameron pledge to hold the EU referendum that saw the UK vote to leave by a margin of 52 to 48 per cent.

Back in 2015, one of the Conservatives’ main campaigning tools was to project the idea that the Labour Party, led by Miliband at the time, would lead the country into ‘chaos’, while the Tories would be ‘strong and stable’.

Lol.

Miliband has taken the chance to mock the Tories’ current shambles by changing his Twitter name to ‘Chaos with Ed Miliband’, in what can only be described as the best virtual mic drop of all time in politics.

Fair play, Ed. You have absolutely done them there.

Of course, we can laugh at the current situation but it’s worth noting that Boris Johnson is in pole position to take over from May as prime minister.

Boris Johnson.

Lord help us.
