Trump’s new cards have been compared to Nazi iconography

Disgraced former President Donald Trump has urged his supporters to carry ‘Trump cards’ which are unfortunately not his own version of Top Trumps. The design of the cards has been compared to that of the Nazi insignia, sparking online outrage.

On Wednesday, Trump’s PAC sent two emails asking supporters to choose between either a red or gold design, Insider reports. One design features a gold eagle, which the Times has said is reminiscent of the Nazi parties Parteiadler. The Trump card features a bald eagle, which happens to be the USA’s national animal.

But the issue lies with the positioning of the eagle’s head. The Great Seal of America features an eagle with its head looking left. However, both the Nazi party’s Parteiadler and Trump’s new symbol, depict an eagle looking to the right.

Concerningly, the designs have been signed off by Trump.

“We recently met with the President in his Florida office and showed him four designs,” the PAC email said.

“Originally we were planning on releasing just one design, but when President Trump saw the cards on his desk, he said, ‘These are BEAUTIFUL. We should let the American People decide – they ALWAYS know best!'”

If Trump has one thing right, it’s that the American people do “Always know best”, especially when it comes to getting elections right the second time around.

In other Trump news, he recently slammed the US women’s national soccer team for their performance at the Olympics.

“Woke means you lose, everything that is woke goes bad, and our soccer team certainly has. There were, however, a few Patriots standing. Unfortunately, they need more than that respecting our Country and National Anthem,” he said.

“They should replace the wokesters with Patriots and start winning again. The woman with the purple hair played terribly and spends too much time thinking about Radical Left politics and not doing her job!”
