Donald Trump has said Prince William is “very handsome” and looks “better in person” after meeting the royal.

The pair met in Paris during the reopening of Notre Dame cathedral, with Trump saying they had a “great talk.”

Speaking to the New York Post, Trump said he spoke to the Prince of Wales about the health of Princess Kate and King Charles.

The president-elect told the publication: “I asked him about his wife and he said she’s doing well. And I asked him about his father and his father is fighting very hard, and he loves his father and he loves his wife, so it was sad. We had a great talk for half an hour, a little more than half an hour. We had a great, great talk.”

Both the Princess of Wales and King Charles were diagnosed with cancer this year, with Kate announcing in September that she had finished chemotherapy treatments.

Trump then went on to talk about Prince William’s looks, saying: “He’s a good-looking guy. He looked really, very handsome last night. Some people look better in person? He looked great. He looked really nice, and I told him that.”

Trump isn’t the only person who thinks Wills is a bit of a looker. Last month, the future king was voted the sexiest bald man of 2024, the second consecutive year that he’s picked up the honour.
