Homenews

Well, it seems he's officially done it.

Donald Trump has just reached the number of delegates needed to win the Republican nomination for president, according to Reuters. https://twitter.com/Reuters/status/735838293791789058 Trump became the presumptive nominee after John Kasich suspended his campaign for the presidency earlier this month. However it was only earlier today that he officially sealed the deal. It takes 1,237 delegates to win the Republican nomination for president, and Trump has now received one more than that, at just 1,238 delegates. https://twitter.com/TheFix/status/735848286574252032 Despite being hugely controversial and widely disliked among many people, there seems to be no stopping the former businessman and Apprentice host on his way to being anointed the Republican nominee for the White House at the party's convention in July.
