Diners have slammed celeb chef Rick Stein's fish and chip shop, describing it as a "rip-off."
Stein's chipper in Cornwall is a big name in the UK's fish and chip scene, but many have called it out for its over-the-top prices.
It will cost you at least £15.95 for a takeaway serving of haddock and chips, which rises to £19.95 if you're eating in.
A pot of mayo on the side costs £2.25.
Food critic Gary Hanna, who runs the YouTube channel Gary Eats, admitted to being disappointed by a meal from Stein's chipper and sent his food back.
He said: "I had his fish and chips, and I've got to say they were disappointing. In fact, I actually called it out and said it was a tourist trap."
However, he decided to go back and give it another chance, this time disguising himself.
He ordered haddock and chips, a portion of scampi, some mushy peas, a dollop of curry sauce, and a small pot of tartare sauce.
It was a 20-minute wait for the food, which he believed was not worth it, saying: "That's not a good piece of fish at all."
He added that the chips were "a bit dry", labelled the scampi a "mass-produced mush" and said the mushy peas were "rubbish."
Reviews on TripAdvisor echoed a similar feeling to that of Hanna.
One user said: "Honestly the worst fish and chips I have ever tried! Chips and fish batter were absolutely saturated with oil and the curry sauce was like dishwater with a hint of curry."
Another wrote: "Save your money guys and support the local fish and chip outlet in Padstow. The quality and portion size of our Rick Stein order was appalling."
Somebody else said: "Pure grease, well well overpriced not even a nice fish and chips, mushy peas if you could call them that watery paste."
