Dec and his wife welcomed their second child on Saturday morning
Dec Donnelly has revealed the name of his newborn baby boy, and it includes a lovely tribute to his partner in crime Ant McPartlin.
The iconic Geordie TV presenter, 46, completely surprised fans with the news that his wife Ali Astall had given birth to their second child, four years after they had their daughter Isla in 2018.
Donnelly used the Ant and Dec official Instagram to announce the news on Sunday evening, including the baby’s name and touching nod to his co-presenter.
Dec wrote: “Shortly before 10am yesterday, 23.7.2022, Ali and I welcomed the arrival of our son, Jack Anthony Alphonsus, a very welcome ray of light.
“He is wonderful and Isla is beyond excited to be a big sister! D x”

Fans went absolutely wild for the post, which racked up nearly 400,000 likes in less than 15 hours.
Jamie Oliver, Laura Whitmore and Fearne Cotton were amongst the celebs who commented to share their congratulations, as well as ex-Newcastle United player Tim Krul.
The news comes after Dec’s brother Dermott tragically died earlier this month, aged just 55.
The Catholic priest is understood to have been rushed to hospital after collapsing.
Announcing the devastating news, Dec wrote on Twitter: “I am heartbroken to tell you that my darling brother Fr Dermott, sadly passed away this afternoon. We are all beyond devastated. Thank you for your messages of sympathy and support, they are appreciated.”
