David Walliams has been dropped by HarperCollins due to claims he allegedly harassed junior female employees.
The Telegraph report that one woman who came forward with allegations against the 54-year-old was reportedly given a five-figure payout.
Walliams rose to fame in the early noughties before becoming a household name through the series Little Britain.
He then wrote over 40 books, mostly written for children.
A spokesperson for HarperCollins told The Telegraph: “After careful consideration, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish any new titles by David Walliams. The author is aware of this decision.
“HarperCollins takes employee wellbeing extremely seriously and has processes in place for reporting and investigating concerns.
“To respect the privacy of individuals we do not comment on internal matters.”
The Telegraph report that employees were told to work 'in pairs' when meeting him and were told not to visit his house.
An investigation was launched back in 2023 when a junior employee came forward with allegations before leaving the company.
