Crowdfunding page for heroic homeless man raises more than £11,000

Not long ago we told about Mark, the homeless man who went out of his way to help a girl who had missed her last late-night train home.

The JustGiving page had a funding target of £8,000, but at the time of writing it has well surpassed that. The current total is £11,170, with more than three weeks left to donate.

Nicole posted about Mark again on her birthday a few days ago, saying the huge donation was the 'best gift ever'.

Best birthday gift ever seeing how much people have donated for Mark. Thank you to everyone who's helped us hit our target. Let's keep going! ?
