Singer Chris Brown was arrested this morning during his stay at a five-star hotel in Manchester.
He was arrested at The Lowry hotel for an alleged attack that happened back in 2023.
The alleged 'bottle attack' took place at a nightclub in London two years ago.
It's been reported by the Manchester Evening News that the arrest was due to suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm to producer, Abe Diaw, at the Tape nightclub.
Brown arrived in Manchester yesterday (Wednesday 14).
The police told The Sun: "A 36-year-old man was arrested at a hotel in Manchester shortly after 02:00hrs on Thursday, 15 May on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
"He has been taken into custody where he remains. The arrest relates to an incident at a venue in Hanover Square on 19 February 2023. The investigation is being led by detectives from the Central West Area Basic Command Unit."
Brown has ten tour dates planned for the UK in the near future which could now be thrown into jeopardy.
