Channel 4 are showing Christmas films today and people are confused as heck

This May Bank Holiday makes it 208 days until Christmas. But that hasn't stopped Channel 4 from getting in the festive spirit.

The broadcaster is airing 1954 Christmas classic "White Christmas" on More 4 today. https://twitter.com/Sweliotknickers/status/737222800243593216 The "official reason" for the odd scheduling is to coincide with the anniversary of the song White Christmas, which was released on May 30 back in 1942. Bing Crosby's version of the song is supposedly the highest selling single of all time, so it would make sense for one of the channels to honour the anniversary.
