This May Bank Holiday makes it 208 days until Christmas. But that hasn't stopped Channel 4 from getting in the festive spirit.
The broadcaster is airing 1954 Christmas classic "White Christmas" on More 4 today.

The "official reason" for the odd scheduling is to coincide with the anniversary of the song
White Christmas, which was released on May 30 back in 1942. Bing Crosby's version of the song is supposedly the highest selling single of all time, so it would make sense for one of the channels to honour the anniversary.
Of course what with it being a Bank Holiday morning and a few people only just managing to rise out of bed, some people think More 4 are trying to trick those hungover into thinking they have overslept by a few months.
