Brooklyn Beckham has broken a week-long silence, posting to social media after the rest of his family made their first public appearance since the feud went nuclear.
This comes as the rest of the Beckhams made their first public appearance since Brooklyn Beckham confirmed the rift in the family last week (19 January).
In this statement Brooklyn said he did not wish to reconcile with his family.
He wrote: "I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private,” he wrote.
He added: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
The Beckhams appeared at Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris yesterday (26 January).
Now, Brooklyn has hit back with a TikTok video shared this morning in which he shared highlights of his time with his wife Nicola Peltz.

People were quick to comment with a mix of responses.
One person wrote: "Marriages come and go.. GO get back to your real FAMILY!"
While another said: "They look happy to me."
Of course Nicola has reportedly been at the centre of the rift between Brooklyn and his family, with accusations from both sides.
One of such were stories about Victoria’s ‘inappropriate’ dancing at his and Nicola’s wedding which went viral over a week ago.
“My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song,” Brooklyn wrote.
“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.
“I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
In a now-deleted post, a guest from the wedding addressed Brooklyn’s claims, and said he was telling the truth.
Stavros Agapiou attended with his partner, British DJ Fat Tony, who performed at the ceremony.
Agapiou commented on Jack Remington’s post about the controversy, saying: “I was there and she did, he’s telling the truth.”

However, he has since deleted the comment, and put a story up on his page saying that he is going to ‘keep his mouth shut from now on’, adding in a further story: “Publications are tapped.”
He also commented on Remington’s post again, saying: “Good on him for finally speaking out!”
Cruz Beckham also weighed in on the stories about Victoria’s dancing, and took to Instagram to poke fun at the claims by liking a reel.
The post, which was shared by comedian olly_101, showed the comedian pretending to be the DJ at Brooklyn’s wedding before saying: “And now for the song requested by the mother of the groom for her first dance with her son!”
He then played the song Pony by Ginuwine which famously blew up in popularity after featuring in Magic Mike for a Channing Tatum striptease scene.
The post was captioned: “Interesting moves Victoria.”
While Cruz didn’t comment, he did respond by simply liking the reel which was then seen by millions of people.
One person commented: “The fact Cruz has liked this.” Another wrote: “Cruz Beckham likes this lmfaooooo.”
Brooklyn’s statement addressed some long-running rumours about what has gone on between him and his parents.
One of the things he addressed was rumours around his wife Nicola refusing to wear a dress designed by Victoria.
However, Nicola later told The Times that her mother-in-law did not think her atelier could finish the gown in time.
Brooklyn says his mother “cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress”.
He went on to explain that he and Nicola then had a vow renewal after three years of marriage, so that they could “create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
Brooklyn also claims his parents “repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name” before he married Nicola.
Although it is not clear exactly what he is referring to, he said he never agreed to sign anything, adding that it “affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since”.
He also addressed reports that he failed to show up for his dad’s 50th birthday party, claiming that both he and Nicola travelled to London for the event, but were “rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him”.
“He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner,” he wrote.
Brooklyn added that his dad eventually agreed to see him on the condition that Nicola was not present, which he dubbed a “slap in the face”.
The influencer said that his family value “public promotion and endorsements above all else”.
“Brand Beckham comes first,” he wrote.
“I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life,” Brooklyn continued.
“I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared”.
He also claimed that his younger brothers have been “sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last summer”.
This comes after Cruz Beckham, 20, claimed that members of his family “woke up blocked” by Brooklyn, after reports that they had unfollowed the eldest sibling.
