Lauren Bennett, the British singer known as a member of the girl groups Paradiso Girls and G.R.L., has passed away at age 37.
The singer was also known for her collaborations with CeeLo Green, Robin Antin, The Pussycat Dolls, and LMFAO.
The news of her death was shared on the Instagram of her former musical grouo G.R.L. on Monday.
The statement said: “It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Lauren.”
“Our hearts are broken, and we cannot begin to express how much she meant to us.”
Her representatives did not respond to request for comment by the BBC, while the statement did not reveal a cause of death.
She was one of the voices on LMFAO's hit song Party Rock Anthem, which was named the fifth most successful song of all time by Billboard.
In 2011, the song spent six weeks as the number one song on its Hot 100.
The song’s music video, in which Bennett also featured alongside LMFAO members, on YouTube has more than 2.5 billion views.
Bennett joined pop group G.R.L in 2014, which was created as a reboot of The Pussycat Dolls, alongside singers Paula Van Oppen, Natasha Slayton, Simone Battle, and Emmalyn Estrada.
G.R.L.'s statement said: “We will forever cherish the love, laughter, and countless memories she gave us.”
“Her beautiful spirit touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved.”
