The blind Bulgarian psychic Baba Vanga (real name Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova) offered her two cents on a possible Third World War prior to her death nearly 30 years ago.
As Israel and Iran continue to blow holes in one another, and Russia's invasion of Ukraine shows no sign of ceasing, the prospect of World War III has never held so much plausibility.
Per Metro, it's now been revealed that Baba's prognostications surrounding Eastern and Western Europe after the fall of Syria spell bad news for us all.
"As soon as Syria falls, expect a great war between the West and the East," she said.
"In the spring, a war in the East will begin and there will be a third World War. A war in the East that will destroy the West."
Her other 2025 predictions consisted of scientists discovering telepathic powers, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton reclaiming the world championship for his new team Scuderia Ferrari, aliens announcing themselves to humankind at the Super Bowl halftime show, and the emergence of another clean energy source.
Although we can guarantee that those particular predictions definitely won't materialise, Baba was actually correct in forecasting terrible earthquakes this year.
Back in March, 2,000 people in Myanmar were killed by a horrific tremor measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale.
The severity of this earthquake was further illustrated by its extension over to the Thai capital of Bangkok, which experienced vibrations of its own.
In the US state of Nevada, four separate earthquakes occured with the strongest reaching a magnitude of 4.0.
Elsewhere, US President Donald Trump promised to retaliate "at levels never seen before" should Iran attack the States, while Britain is said to already be at war with Russia right under our noses.
