Armed police have rushed to Heathrow Airport this morning as emergency services respond to an incident at the UK's busiest airport.
People have faced major disruption at London Heathrow after an incident in a multi-storey car park in Terminal 3.
Reports say that people are being treated at the scene, but injuries are not believed to be serious and that one person has been arrested.
Meanwhile, the BBC reported that police confirmed that the incident is neither terrorism nor a protest.
The London Ambulance Service said a "significant incident" was declared around 8.40am.
There was a "full deployment" of resources and the ambulance service is treating it as ongoing.
Heathrow Airport released a statement on their X account which read: "Our teams are currently responding to an incident involving the emergency services in the Terminal 3 multi-storey car park.
"Passengers are advised to allow extra time when travelling to the airport and to check with their airline for any queries."
