A literal game-changer, if you will

At Monday’s Apple Event in Cupertino, California, the tech giants announced a new gaming service called Apple Arcade that will host games not seen on any other mobile devices.

You will be able to download all the games on the service across platforms on iOS, macOS and tvOS, and they will be ad-free.

The subscription is said to boast over 100 new and exclusive games while Apple will be adding new content “all the time”.

Disney and Konami are just some of the partners that the service has announced thus far, according to TechCrunch.

Another important note is that all games on the Arcade will be playable offline, meaning internet access will not be necessary.

“We want to make gaming even better,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said onstage.

Earlier on Monday, we shared the news from the same launch that Apple had announced a new video streaming service called Apple TV+ in which subscribers will only pay for only the channels they want.

They also unveiled Apple News+, which is a new premium version of the Apple News app which will see magazine content available for the first time, while the company also revealed that it would be releasing a credit card called the Apple Card.
