Anya Taylor-Joy and Mia Goth star in this haunting family thriller.
Our TV movie pick for tonight (Monday, 12 May) is The Secret of Marrowbone, a chilling, atmospheric thriller that will keep you thinking long after it’s over.
From the writer of The Orphanage, this eerie tale follows four siblings hiding out in an old, crumbling house with a serious secret in the attic.
Starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Mia Goth, and George MacKay, the film is set in the 1960’s as the family relocate from England to a secluded mansion in Maine.

Their mother’s dying wish is for them to stay hidden until Jack turns 21, at which point he can legally assume guardianship.
As the family settle into their new life, the siblings are haunted by an evil presence in the house.
They are drawn into a web of secrets that threatens their existence.
This isn’t your typical jump-scare horror, but a more psychological, emotional, and unsettling watch.
The Secret of Marrowbone is on Film4 at 1.20am.
