Heard took to the stand for the second time today

Amber Heard has told a court that Johnny Depp kicked and slapped her on a private jet because he was upset about her working with James Franco.

The 36-year-old Aquaman actor took to the stand for the second time today – in the multi-million dollar defamation trial between her and her ex-husband, 58-year-old Depp.

Heard claimed one of the alleged incidents of violence happened in May 2014, on a private flight between Boston and LA. She had flown from New York to Boston to meet Depp, and they were due to fly to LA together.

Describing the moment she was waiting on the plane for Depp to get on the flight, Heard said: “I knew in every cell of my body something was wrong. He comes up to me and doesn’t say a word to me, but just goes and sits in a different seat across from me.”

She continued: “At some point he’s asking me, do I have something to tell him about what happened yesterday. He reeks of weed and alcohol. I could anticipate this was a no-win situation here, there was no talking him down.”

Depp then allegedly began to make sexual comments about Heard, who was filming The Adderall Diaries with actor James Franco at the time. The Pirates of the Caribbean star has previously said he believed Heard was having an affair with Franco.

Heard said: “He’s asking me questions and I know to not engage. I’m being polite, but not engaging. Moving slowly. Eventually he went from ‘do you have something to tell me’ to ‘tell me how much you like it, did he slip you the tongue’.”

“He was being really explicit about my body, saying really disgusting things about how much I liked it. He said ‘I know you liked it’. He called me a go-getter, a s**t. Also, this was happening in front of his assistants and his security on the plane. I struggle to tell you how embarrassed I was he was saying this all in front of him.”

Heard said she moved “very slowly” away from her Depp several times. She alleged Depp sat next to her and slapped her in the face, in front of one of her friends on the plane.

“It didn’t hurt my face, I just felt embarrassed. It was the first time anything like that happened in front of somebody,” she added.

Heard alleged that she got up to move away from Depp again, but that he kicked a swivel chair into her and asked, ”What are you going to do about it?’

The actor said she “just stared at him” and “wanted him to see” her.

“It felt like there was a blackness in his eyes,” she said, “It didn’t feel like him.”

Heard then claimed she tried to walk away “slowly” being “deliberate about her movements” and “not engaging”. She claimed Depp told her to “hurry the f**k up”.

The 36-year-old described wanting to “penetrate the monster, to see the man that I love underneath that”.

When she walked away from Depp again, Heard alleged he kicked her in the back and she fell to the floor.

She said: “I just felt like I was looking at the floor of the plane for, it a long time. I thought to myself  ‘I don’t know what to do’.

The actor said she couldn’t believe what had happened, but there was silence on the plane and “you could hear a pin drop”.

“No one said anything, no one did anything,” she added.twit

Heard told the court how she spent the rest of the flight looking out the window. She claimed Depp started “howling like an animal” before he “passed out in the bathroom”.

After the flight, she said she surrounded herself with friends, and when Depp “got sick”, she took his daughter out to dinner. Heard said she then booked a flight back to New York – this time without Depp.

Depp is currently suing his former wife Heard for defamation over an op-ed she wrote in 2018 in which she discussed the subject of domestic abuse.

Depp and his lawyers argue that the Washington Post piece falsely implies that Heard was physically and sexually abused by Depp while they were married from 2015 to 2017. He is seeking $50m in damages.

Heard is in turn suing her former husband, accusing him of orchestrating a “smear campaign” against her and labelling his lawsuit as a continuation of “abuse and harassment.”
