Aldi announces strict '2 per customer' rule on new Christmas item

The iconic item is returning this week

Aldi has announced it has imposed a strict ‘2 per customer’ rule on one of its most popular festive products: Kevin the Carrot.

On Thursday (November 16), the cuddly character – who has become a star of the supermarket chain’s Christmas adverts in recent years – will be landing in stores.

Announcing this on their socials, Aldi said: “The plushie production is in full swing! Kevin and his Christmas Factory friends are available in store 16.11.23. #AldiAmazingChristmas”.

Along with Kevin, William Conker and friends including the Plumty Dumptys, all of which featured in Aldi’s 2023 Christmas advert, will be available to buy in stores. But because they’re special buy items, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Each of the toys will be priced at £3.99. There will also be a special Golden Kevin that customers can buy for £3.99 and a Jumbo Kevin Plush for £19.99.

But Aldi has warned the plush toys will be have a strict limit on them of two per customers, so that as many people as possible have a chance to purchase a Kevin.

The toys are only available to buy in stores.

Commenting on the announcement on Facebook, one happy customer said: “I’m sooo excited roll on Thursday!!”

Another said: “Love the new Christmas advert, well done Aldi.”

A third wrote: “I’Il be at my store bright & early!!!”
