Fans of Travis Barker and Blink 182 have shared their discontent on Twitter after their icon was simply dubbed as "Kourtney Kardashian's husband."
The 46-year-old drummer married the eldest Kardashian sibling in Las Vegas on April 6, with their wedding being officiated by an Elvis impersonator. While the two seem inseparable, many have noted how the media refers to them.
Fans of Barker's music have taken issue with their hero being referred to as "Kourtney Kardashian's husband", largely because it negates his own talent and experiences.
"Travis Barker is one of the most talented and prolific drummers of a generation. Hurts to see him referred to simply as Kourtney Kardashian's husband," one person explained, while another wrote, "I hope Travis Barker, husband of Kourtney Kardashian, is okay and I also think it's hilarious that finally, a man's life achievement is reduced to his marriage. Well played, media."

On June 28, Barker was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles because of what has now been revealed as pancreatitis. According to sources who spoke to TMZ, his pancreas became inflamed due to a recent colonoscopy procedure.
Barker has since left the hospital and offered a statement on his Instagram story that read: "I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great.
"But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since
"During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube.
"This resulted in severe life threatening pancreatitis. I am so very very grateful hat with intensive treatment I am currently much better."
