Is The Weeknd announcing a tour?

The Weeknd is making a big announcement and fans think it might be new music and tour dates.

Across social media the singer has posted a link to his website entitled ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’, which takes you to a countdown.

The clock is set to finish at 4pm UK time on Thursday, 23 January and fans can sign up to gain first access.

This is leading to fans expecting a big announcement, including an album called Hurry Up Tomorrow and possibly tour dates.

On December 18, 2024 the singer posted an image on social media which promised a new album, tour, movie and “new everything”.

He captioned the post simply: “2025”, leading to fans hoping that the countdown is connected to his post.

The singer embarked on his After Hours til Dawn Tour in 2022, which saw him stop off across North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia.

His most recent shows took place in Melbourne and Sydney in October last year, with the tour rumoured to be continuing into 2025.

It saw him perform hits including “Can’t Feel My Face”, “I Feel It Coming”, “Save Your Tears” and “Blinding Lights” to name a few.

As well as his website countdown, it’s been confirmed that Paycor Stadium in US city Cincinnati is set to “host another major concert in 2025”.

The Cincinnati Bengals said in a press release on Wednesday, 22 January that they and Live Nation will host a press conference at 11am on Thursday to announce a special concert.

This has led to fans speculating that artists like Beyonce, Post Malone as well as The Weeknd could be playing the stadium as part of a tour.
