The Spice Girls are reportedly getting back together, and will release new music in 2018

Full-on 90s nostalgia.

Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell might be having a reunion.

Reports on NME suggest that The Spice Girls will reunite next year, for both a TV special, and a new album.

According to NME, a source told The Sun:

The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer, and finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion. As it stands, they will be working together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls.

Getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion.

The Spice Girls were formed in 1994, but their debut smash ‘Wannabe’ wasn’t released until 1996. They split up in 2000, but reunited for a world tour in 2007, and again in 2012 to play at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.

Nothing official has been confirmed yet, but in the meantime, this is a s good a time as any time remind you that ‘Say You’ll Be There’ is still an absolute banger.
