Lorde announces extra tour dates

Lorde has announced extra dates on her Ultrasound Tour due to a demand for tickets.
Posting on her Instagram story about the reaction to the tour, the singer wrote: “This is crazy.. making me emotional! Second Ldn, Amsterdam & some further US up now.”
It’s now confirmed that she’ll play second shows in Washington, Nashville and Minneapolis as well as London’s O2 Arena and Amsterdam’s AFAS Live.
It’ll be in support of her upcoming fourth studio album, Virgin which is due for release on 27 June.
The LP features lead single “What Was That” which marked her first, much-anticipated solo release in four years.
Fans can also expect to hear tracks from her back catalogue including 2017’s Melodrama and her breakthrough debut, Pure Heroine.
The tour is set to begin on 17 September in Austin and head to the likes of Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Atlanta and Las Vegas to name a few.
The European leg of the tour will begin on 9 November in Luxembourg and head to the likes of Paris, Dublin, Manchester, Amsterdam, Munich, Berlin and Stockholm.
