Lorde reportedly felt ‘insulted’ by Grammy organisers

Her fans were angry at the decision made by the award ceremony's bosses.

In a scene I’m sure we can all relate to, Lorde drank from a hipflask at last night's Grammy Awards, after she turned down the opportunity to perform because she wasn't offered a solo slot like her male contemporaries. The snub came despite many of her male contemporaries being given solo slots on the night. Reports claim that in protest the New Zealand-born singer refused to perform all together when she was offered the opportunity to lend her talents to the Tom Petty tribute in a group performance alongside Chris Stapleton and Emmylou Harris.
