LCD Soundsystem confirmed eight-night Brixton residency

LCD Soundsystem have announced details of a London residency for summer 2025 - and this is how to get tickets.

The group will headline eight shows at the O2 Brixton Academy this June, on 12-15 and 19-21, with the Sunday shows taking place between 5-9pm.

It follows up their six-night residency at the same venue back in 2022 and their 2024 headline performance at All Points East festival.

They're also set to appear at festivals in Europe including Primavera Sound in Barcelona and We Love Green in Paris.

In a press release about their upcoming Primavera performance, it was revealed that the band would be releasing a new album in 2025.

The news came after the group dropped new single "X-Ray Eyes" late last year.

Frontman, James Murphy later shared an update about the progress on the record, saying: "So there’s a new LCD song called 'X-Ray Eyes'. It's the first single of what's shaping up to be a new LCD Soundsystem album.

"Don't ask me when that is, because we are still working on it. But it feels very good to be putting out new music."

The frontman went on to reiterate that "there is no finished LP yet", adding: "But when we are not playing shows, it’s getting closer and closer to completion. So that’s the news. Anything else you hear is bulls**t speculation."

The group are also playing a string of shows across the US this spring including San Diego, Austin, Dallas, New Orleans and Atlanta.

Yes, an O2 Priority sale takes place from 9am on Wednesday, 5 March via priority.o2.co.uk and the O2 mobile app.

An AEG Presents presale then takes place from 9am on Thursday, 6 March and you can sign up via aegpresents.co.uk. Just choose from your preferred date and enter your details and you'll be sent a unique presale link.
