Ice Cube to release Everythangs Corrupt, his first album in eight years

It will be O’Shea Jackson’s 10th studio album

Ice Cube is back – okay, so he never left, but as far music goes he’s back.

Taking to Instagram to announce his 10th studio album, the former N.W.A. man’s new album will be titled Everythangs Corrupt and is due to arrive December 7th.

It’s been nearly a decade since we were gifted a new album from Cube, his last offering was 2010’s I Am the West.

Since then, aside from focusing heavily on his acting and film producing career with movies like Ride Along, Lottery Ticket, Rampart, The Book of Life, Barbershop: The Next Cut and of course 2015’s Straight Outta Compton, he’s been busy with his BIG3 basketball league.

A 3-on-3 basketball league featuring mostly retired NBA players, Cube founded the BIG3 in 2017 alongside entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz.

With over 30 years in the game it was only a matter of time before Ice Cube came back into the MC fold, his hunger for getting busy on the mic is too much for him not to feed it.

According to his Instagram post, the day the album is released will be “a day that will live in infamy.”

Ice Cube signed a new record contract with Interscope Records last May leading fans to believe that he had new music on the way, which the legendary rapper has now confirmed.

“We are thrilled to announce that Ice Cube has joined the Interscope family,” John Janick, Chairman and CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M said of the signing.

“He’s obviously one of the legendary figures in hip-hop… that’s a massive statement on its own, but he’s so much more than that. Cube has an incredible body of work, and as a fan I’m honored to welcome him to the label.”

Ice Cube’s Everythangs Corrupt will be released December 7th.
