Multi-platinum Hip Hop group Cypress Hill have announced a major UK tour this coming winter, the band’s first in over two years.

Announcing new album Elephants On Acid, which is due to arrive later this year, the band’s supporting tour will start off Friday November 30th at the Manchester Academy and end December 5th at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

Now joined by DJ Mix Master Mike, the Grammy nominated group have been in the game for 27 years! Can you believe that? 2016 marked their 25th anniversary and saw them release a limited edition version of their ground-breaking self-titled debut album.

Across nine albums that have sold over 20 million copies worldwide, Cypress Hill (made up of B-Real, Sen Dog and DJ Muggs) redefined and shattered the boundaries of Hip Hop, crafting gutter-dirty tracks that fused deep bass lines with blissful, stoned-out melodies and aggressive hard rock riffs.

Having sold over 18 million albums worldwide Cypress Hill are considered to be amongst the early flag flyers for West Coast Hip Hop. With their debut album still at the top of the charts, they became the first rap group to have two albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 at the same time when their second album, Black Sunday, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 in 1993.

Tickets for the Elephants On Acid UK tour go on sale 9am, Friday June 15th via www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
