University brings in ‘texting lanes’ in student buildings

Students fed up with being held up behind slow-walkers glued to their phones will be pleased, if a little bemused, by the actions of one university.

Utah Valley University, in the United States, has introduced separate lanes on staircases in one student building - one lane for walking, a second for running and the third for texting.
